Tremula | Workshop

Very excited for a collaboration between @smallaudioart_ and @tremulanetwork at this year’s Tremula Festival. There is a wonderful line up of workshops and speakers - looking forward to meeting you there.

@phoebesound is a multi award-winning radio journalist and founder of @smallaudioart_ She will be running a writing and walking workshop on using objects to tell personal stories, and how to develop it into your own submission to Small Audio Art.


@safesoundres is an audio collective formed by audio producers @ktcallin (Bristol/Isle of Man) and @jesseloulawson (London). Their session will get you thinking about soundscapes as a way of personal expression, with an opportunity for submitting your piece to safe + sound’s show on Resonance FM.

@_hackista is a senior technical tutor in audio radio and podcasting at Goldsmiths, University of London teaching on degrees such as BA Media and Communications and MA Broadcast Journalism. She’ll be running some sessions about producing audio to a given brief.

Marion Atieno Osieyo is a storyteller and advisor working at the intersection of ecology, culture, and human flourishing. She’ll be discussing using an ‘impact production’ approach for her award-winning @blackearthpodcast.

Martin Burch is the producer of @ambientcolorado, and he’ll be talking about how to write scripts that describe distances, timings, heights and more in a way that doesn’t rely on numbers, is interesting and globally relevant.

@wildtalesnt from the National Trust let’s you experience nature in a whole new way. We’ll be hearing from hosts and producers about marketing, community and how to tell tales of nature in new ways.
