Exploring new ways to interview

with Phoebe McIndoe & Redzi Bernard

London Podcast Festival 2023 | Podcast Maker Weekend

In this session Phoebe McIndoe and Redzi Bernard journey through a range of (tried and tested) interview techniques and styles into (less tried and tested!) collaborative questioning spaces. Join us for a curious exploration into the playful potentials for interview.

“Often I know what answers I want so that the story will move the audience. When I’m preparing the interview, I can sit and wish for certain answers. This is bad news, and will end up controlling me during the interview situation. I will end up putting words in the Other’s mouth. Even if I don’t do this literally, I do it indirectly and then end up at some point anyway in the end. What I think about the Other easily becomes reality.” Bengt Bok
